Stress doesn’t begin to describe my world, lately. Cluttered, trailer trashy crafty Christmas vomit, too many projects…exhibit A…
and B and C.

But I’m lucky.
Sure, I’m stressed. I have to worry about bills. My dog is pooping inside because 50 mile an hour winds are not conducive to an 11lb dog going outside (apparently). I can’t stop from crying when the song Christmas Shoes comes on. And you know those “fat pants” you save for the Holidays, when you feel bloated and all hibernation-y… the ones that you put on to make you feel good during the fat times (and by YOU, I mean ME) , they don’t fit! So I wore yoga pants to my daughter’s Christmas program last night and blamed my tears on Christmas Shoes.
I could have bigger problems than not being able to pull my pants up over my hips and having 100 painted toilet paper rolls on my dining room table…
And that is why, I am encouraging you to go shop for Anissa at Aiming Low today! Many online vendors are participating in Shop For Anissa and donating a portion of today’s sales to the Mayhew family.
If you don’t know her story, it’s here, go read it, it’ll make you count your blessings and hug your family a little tighter this season.

I wish I could shop and help Anissa’s family. The story is very sad and touching and it is awesome that you are willing to help them out. I hope they raise a good amount during these trying times. Keep being positive you are doing wonderfully.
This is so awesome that these sites/vendors are doing this….the first thing I did when i got my pc back on Monday was to check the hope4peyton site to check on an update about anissa
OK, Christmas Shoes… gets me every time! Like a blubbering idiot I am at work when that song comes on.. its awful! and I totally can relate to the yoga pants. I have been busting butt working out every morning but the pants just arent getting any looser… maybe I shouldnt have had that 3rd(4th) helping of Baklava at the office today….
