Yep you’re like me. I live in an itty bitty house and it’s already cluttered. My parents though, buy toys out the ass for my kid. I HATE HATE HATE the day after Christmas. When there is piles of shit sitting around waiting to be put away and there’s no place to put it. Agh!

I’m not exactly OCD, but have an anxiety disorder that lends itself to many OCD tendencies. (as in…I can’t have an even number of small foods in my hand…it must be an odd number)

My thing is NOISE toys. Little bastards that make repetitive sounds in hellacious sequences of taps and tocks and beeps. And always. Always, my mother and sister buy my kids every available noise toy they can find.

I hate them. Ugh.

OMG… your MIL sounds like my mom… she goes overboard every year… my kids are older too now so we are hoping for no small toys.. thats what bugs me.. like the Polly Pockets and Littlest Pet Shops… ugh!

I don’t think my mother in law has ever bought my children a toy that did not require batteries and/or make really obnoxious noises. I like to take said toys back over for the kids to play with while we’re there for Easter and then forget to take them home.

LOL – I hear you, and I think you just finally diagnosed my condition – OCD. My in laws are coming next weekend, and I’m dreading ALL. THE. CRAP!!!!!

The Dollar Store stays in business because of my MIL, and I’m already antsy with too much junk in this house. Time to do a little donating…
