I can hear her giggle though I never heard it. Her smile lit up a room though I never saw it. Her animation comes through in pictures and I feel the vibrancy that she brought to the people around her though I never witnessed it.
My kids and I scroll through pictures of her. They laugh at her jubilant smile and awe at her sweetness. I explained to them that Maddie would have been 2 today and that her little body just wasn’t strong enough to stay on earth because she was born too early.
As tears welled up, they asked if they could donate their $5 from their grandma for Halloween to her charity.
This little girl touched so many lives in her short time

She was so beautiful. And always looked like the happiest child in the world.
